As a limited item created by William Lockie, Scotland’s renowned knitwear house, in custom color combinations specified by Ginza HIKO, this mini scarf received an exceptional response last year. Building on that success, we expanded the color variations significantly this season and introduced a larger lineup at the start of autumn and winter.

　　

　

　

　

ところが、想像を上回る
ご好評で、なんと11月の
時点で品切れとなる色が
続出！

　

「このままでは本格的な
寒さ、そしてギフトの
季節を迎える前に完売
してしまう…！」と嬉しい
想定外となりました。

　

そこでスコットランドの
ウィリアムロッキー社に
急遽、再びオーダーを
出すことに。

　

　

However, the response far exceeded our expectations, and many colors had already sold out by November. It became clear that everything might sell out before the real cold weather—and the gift-giving season—arrived. To avoid this happy but unexpected situation, we urgently placed another order with William Lockie in Scotland.

　

　

　

　

色のサンプルロールを前に
どの色とどの色の組合せが
良いか、こうした作業に
慣れているはずのわたくしも
なかなか決められず…

　

というのも、「こんな時に
巻くならこの色がいいかな」
「あのセーターに合わせる
ならこちらかな」と想像するのが
楽しすぎるからです。

　

ですがオーダーを出すのは
一日も早い方が良いので
「良し！」と決断。
発注を完了しました。

　

そして先日。
ウィリアムロッキー社の方々
が全速力で制作に取り組んで
下さったおかげで、丁度
寒くなったこのタイミングで
新色を含む品々が
スコットランドから届きました。

　

Even though I am usually accustomed to choosing color combinations, I found it surprisingly difficult to decide this time—simply because imagining how each one would look was far too enjoyable. “If I were going out in this outfit, this color would be perfect…” “If I paired it with that sweater, perhaps this one…” Such thoughts kept me happily undecided.

Even so, the order had to be placed quickly, so I made the decision. Thanks to William Lockie’s swift work, the new colors arrived from Scotland just as the weather turned cold.
