ペイズリー柄とはそもそもどんな柄なのか？
What Exactly is a Paisley Pattern?
ペイズリー柄はペルシアで生まれ、
インドのカシミール地方でより
盛んに用いられるようになり、
ヨーロッパに伝わって行ったと
言われています。
発祥の地ペルシアでは生命の樹や
永遠を象徴し、曲線を描く模様が
成長や繁栄を意味していたのだとか。
The paisley pattern originated in Persia, gained popularity in the Kashmir region of India, and then spread to Europe. In its birthplace Persia, the design symbolized the Tree of Life and eternity, with the curves representing growth and prosperity.
動きがあるデザインですので
模様の大きさや色使いによっては
時に個性が強く出がちな柄
と言えますが、ZILLI ジリー の
場合はその個性がより洗練された
印象に。
こちらのシャツも白と青という
清潔感のある色合わせで、
手書きの水彩画の様な濃淡、
タッチによって繊細な柄を
描き出しています。
The dynamic design can sometimes be quite distinctive depending on the size and color scheme of the patterns. However, in ZILLI’s case, this distinctiveness is refined into an elegant impression. The combination of white and blue conveys a sense of cleanliness, and the delicate pattern is brought to life with shades and touches reminiscent of a hand-painted watercolor.

ボタンです。
肉厚の蝶貝ボタンで、さらに
側面はメタリックな仕上げが
施されています。
Also, take note of the buttons. They are made of thick mother-of-pearl, with a metallic finish on the sides.
